Attendance for the first six month was up 1% to stand at 10.7 million guests while the average spending per visitor also increased 1% at $39.74. This rise was a result of a 3% increase of average admission revenue ($22.62) slightly offset by a decrease in in-park revenue ($17.12). The company said that it continued to successfully upsell guests to season passes and membership plans, and that as a result, deferred revenue grew to $130 million in the first half, an increase of 22% exactly like prior year.PortAventura is smiling again.
