Over 200 exhibitors from 30 countries to attend

DEAL 2012 in Dubai, UAE

Update : 20:56 Published by François Mayné the 8 March 2012, Event.
Over 200 exhibitors from 30 countries to attend DEAL 2012 in Dubai, UAE

International Expo Consults (IEC), a division of UAE’s multi-faceted business conglomerate - Falak Holding -, stated that they are expecting over 200 firms from across 30 countries to take part in DEAL 2012 (Dubai Entertainment Amusement and Leisure), the largest trade show for the themeparks and amusement industry in the Middle East. The show also expects to attract over 5000 visitors. According to a research by US based Global Industry Analysts Inc. (GIA) the worldwide market for theme parks is forecast to reach US$ 29.5 billion (about € 22.22 billion) by the year 2015.

DEAL is the Middle East’s annual focal point for all stakeholders in the amusement and related industries looking for a successful entry or greater growth in the region’s markets. The event is scheduled to take place from April 17-19, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Mr. Abdul Rahman Falaknaz; Chairman of IEC stated that, “We are aiming to propel the region’s theme parks industry through this show and thereby enabling the exhibitors and the consumers capture the potential this billion dollar industry. Last year contracts worth millions of dollars were signed at DEAL 2011 indicating renewed confidence in the region’s leisure sector. Now in its 18th edition, DEAL is the only platform in the Middle East for exhibitors in these industries to connect with buyers, for buyers to see and test the latest products and services, and for professionals to share best practice and make new contacts.

For an exhibitor, this is the best opportunity of the year to showcase their quality equipments and services to thousands of potential buyers at a single venue. Visitors can attend dedicated seminars, see technology at its innovative best, network with industry peers, and develop profitable business relationships,” added Mr.Falaknaz.

Mr. Prakash Vivekanand, Managing Director, Amusement Services International., one of the exhibitors at DEAL 2011 added that, “We had a fantastic exhibition. This is the most important exhibition for us as we are distributors for most of the popular brands here in the Middle East. Not only did we sign millions of dollars worth of business but we also received several project enquiries.

Last year’s show generated a record number of exhibitors and visitors and most of them pledged to return in 2012 as well. As an exhibitor, this is their best opportunity of the year to showcase quality equipments and services to thousands of potential buyers at a single venue. As a visitor, they can attend dedicated seminars, see technology at its innovative best, network with industry peers and develop profitable business relationships. This is the region’s most important meeting point since 1995 for manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, entrepreneurs, businessmen, technologists and professionals in the amusement industry. This year again, there will be many innovative solutions that will be showcased at the show. We are expecting several exhibitors to bring in new products and technology to the show,” added Mr. Sharif Rahman, CEO, IEC.

DEAL 2011 welcomed some of the amusement industry’s leaders, with regional and global names such as Amusement Services International (ASI), Falgas Industries, Rainbow Productions, Zamperla Middle East and Warehouse of Games. Brand names on display included SEGA, Triotech, Magnetic Cash, Simuline and Cogan among others industry majors.
