Frontier City chooses WhiteWater to create
Oklahoma’s largest AquaPlay Structure
Update : 06/03/12 - 11h38Published by François Mayné the 2 March 2012, New.
Frontier City, owned by CNL Properties and operated by some of the amusement industry’s most respected leaders - Gary Story and Kieran Burke -, has partnered with WhiteWater to build Oklahoma’s largest water activity structure – a custom-themed AquaPlay RainFortress called “Wild West Water Works”.
The attraction will showcase the most unique wild, wild west theme yet; from the saloon to the windmill, great thought was taken in the design process to ensure an eye-catching, memorable experience for guests.
The 16 meters (52 foot) high AquaPlay RainFortress multi-level interactive play structure will also feature a 3785 liters (1,000 gallon) tipping bucket that resembles a barrel, 200 interactive play elements and 8 waterslides to entertain kids of all ages. It will debut in May 2012.
“When we decided to expand with the new attraction, we chose WhiteWater to conceptually design and manufacture Wild West Water Works because we knew their team would bring our ideas to life”, states Stephen Ball, Frontier City’s General Manager.
“Wild West Water Works will be the biggest splash Frontier City has ever seen." says Stephen Ball. "We are extremely excited to offer this new type of experience to our guests. Between all of the rides, concerts, shows and other activities that Frontier City already has to offer, the addition of this new water area at Frontier City positions us as the best entertainment experience and value in Oklahoma. ”
