Tokyo Disneyland New Attraction Goofy's Paint
’n’ Play House opening on August 24
Update : 23/02/12 - 15h52Published by François Mayné the 22 February 2012, New.
While Tokyo DisneySea continues the work on Toy Story Mania! which is scheduled to open next June, Tokyo Disneyland Park will also benefit of a novelty this year: Goofy's Paint 'n' Play House.
This new interactive attraction will be located in Toontown, a place where visitors can visit the homes of their favourites Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck or Chip 'n' Dale.
Replacing Goofy's Bounce House, Goofy’s Paint ’n’ Play House will open on August 24 and will let visitors have fun helping Goofy redecorate his room in a unique and toony fashion with what seems like real paint.
Groups of 8 guests will work together to colorfully paint a room in Goofy’s house using special paint applicators, called Toontone Splat Masters. These tools are easy to use: visitors simply aim at the wall or furniture they want to color and activate the applicators. The attraction features beach, jungle and other remodeling themes, as well as various types of Toontone Splat Masters, so visitors can enjoy a different experience each time they visit.
Tokyo Disney Resort also announced the sale of a special value Park ticket for guests age 45 or over as part of its program "Disney no Otana Tabi". Titled 45 PLUS Passport, it allows admission to a Disney Park for the special price of ¥5,500 instead of regular price of ¥6,200 (about $68,5 instead of $77). This ticket also comes with benefits at restaurants in the Disney Hotels.
