Neptune-Benson, LLC (Neptune-Benson), leading manufacturer of commercial aquatic filtration systems for waterparks and aquatic centers, announced that it has appointed Michael Griffin as the company’s new President. Mr. Griffin brings over 30 years of diverse experience to the organization, most recently as Senior General Manager of Sundyne, a division of Hamilton Sundstrand, a United Technologies Corporation subsidiary.
“As our company continues on its aggressive growth path, it is important to strengthen our team in order to ensure that key operational and strategic responsibilities can be given the proper attention,” said Barry Gertz, current President and CEO. “Michael brings the type of experience and a global perspective that will prove to be invaluable to our organization as we move forward.” Gertz will continue in his role as the company's CEO.
As Senior General Manager at Sundyne, Griffin held P&L responsibility for the company’s Electromagnetics and Marelli Pumps business units with operations in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and Illescas, Spain. Prior to that, Griffin held positions with United Technologies’ Sullair business units in Melbourne, Australia and Michigan City, Indiana as well as Pentair, Ingersoll-Rand and Goulds Pumps.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an ability to improve the performance and profitability of each of the businesses he has managed and his global leadership skills will be an important asset in support of Neptune-Benson’s long term growth strategy.
