Supported by a consortium of private and institutional investors grouped in a company named Las Palm, the 230 hectares site (approx 568 acres) will be located in Grodzisk Mazowiecki about 30 kilometers (approx 18.6 miles) from the capital Warsaw and will consist of the largest theme park and indoor waterpark of the region, an entertainment village with restaurants, shops and night-clubs as well as two hotels totaling 800 rooms.

The contract signing took place during a presentation to the press in the presence of Jan Peter Mulder, CEO of Adventure World Warsaw, Henk Roodenburg, CEO of Vekoma Rides Manufacturing and Roland Mack, managing partner of MACK Rides. By having their rides, famous for their quality and safety, positions our project at the same level of other high profile resorts from around the world. I also would like to thank IAAPA for its support during the last 2 years as well as the entire industry.

"After attending the groundbreaking ceremony this summer, we are very pleased to see that this project really starts," added Christian von Elverfeldt, CEO of MACK Rides. "During the Euro Attractions Show, we negotiated the contract and are now ready to work together."

In backstage, the Dutch company Jora Vision continues its long design work, as explained us its director Jan Maarten de Raad : "More than 30 people are committed to the achievement of this great project. Despite the skepticism of some people, this step of the contracts signing proves that this is serious and that we move forward."

In the coming days, the handover protocol between Las Palm and Imtech Poland – general contractor for the project – will be executed and initial construction work will start including hardening of roads, harvesting of trees and removal of existing buildings. Prior to this, archeological investigations have been conducted on the site.
