Polin supplies water slides for a new water park

In an interview published a few days ago on NewsParcs, Polin’s Marketing Manager Sohret Pakis explained that the company was currently working on several new water parks projects in Asia, including two in China.
Polin today reports more details about one of these projets scheduled to open in Spring 2013 in Yantai, located in northeastern Shandong province of China. Developped by Xin Guang Investment Co Ltd and designed by Dreampark International, Caribbean Island Water Park will feature on 45,000 square meters (11 acre) an hotel and an indoor and outdoor water parks, while future plans also include an entertainment center.
Polin will supply 2 interactive kids play areas and 7 water slides including its very own water coaster slide “Uphill Navigatour”. "We are excited to bring some of the most thrilling rides, especially the Family Turbolance and Uphill Navigatour, to Caribbean Island Water Park," says Jake Park of DreamPark International.
The outdoor section will include a first water slides complex with
- a Family Turbolance of 98 meters long (321 ft) where guests will dive down a steep drop and then up to a vertical section ;
- a Family Rafting Slide of 224 meters long (735 ft) with 6-8 passengers rafts and
- a first Uphill Navigatour of 235 meters long (771 ft)
The indoor section will include a second water slides complex with :
- a second Uphill Navigatour of 180 meters long (590 ft) ;
- a Magic Hole of 150 meters long (492 ft) with an elliptical shape and flat bottom and
- two Aquatubes (fast single slides)
Finally, the Kids Play & Fun areas with interactive water features and junior slides will be installed for the first one in the indoor section and for the second one in the outdoor section.
