Liseberg unveils the 3 amusement parks nominees
for the Applause Award 2012

After an intensive selection process, evaluating several applications from all over the world, The Applause Award Board of Governors has revealed the candidates for The Applause Award for 2012 , one of the most prestigious award within the amusement and theme park industry.
Introduced in 1980, the award is presented every two years at the IAAPA Attractions Show by an international jury of professionals chaired by the Liseberg Amusement Park which is behind the initiative.
The candidates are Ocean Park Hong Kong, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (USA) and Puy du Fou (France), three parks with very different concepts, which should not facilitate the jury's decision. After visiting the sites, the decision will be presented at the KickOff Event at the IAAPA Expo in Orlando, in November 2012.
