Growing Success in Australia for WhiteWater West

WhiteWater West, known across the world for delivering world-class waterpark attractions, has seen immense growth on the Australian market in 2011, and already into early 2012.

Recently opened, WhiteWater provided Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre with the first double FlowRider® in the Australian state of Victoria. The FlowRider® had its grand opening on January 3rd and has been making waves in Melbourne ever since! FlowRider® is a self-contained attraction that generates a thin sheet of fast-moving water that riders surf, as if they were out in the open water.

In Queensland, WhiteWater was integral in the expansion of the largest AquaPlay waterpark in not only Australia, but the southern hemisphere! Zagames Paradise Resort offers two entertaining AquaPlay multi-level interactive play structures; the AquaPlay AP1050 towers over 33 feet (10 meters) high with over 80 interactive water features, while the smaller AquaPlay AP150 provides its own thrills for the younger ones with a designated play area with shallow waters.

WhiteWater installation at Big4 North Star Holiday Resort

At the Big4 North Star Holiday Resort in Hastings Point, New South Wales, WhiteWater has installed an AquaPlay AP550 with a tipping bucket, additional AquaSpray elements, an AquaTune interactive musical instrument, with a fun ‘under the sea’ theme, this resort has the appeal of a larger waterpark.

The company states: "WhiteWater is pleased with its success in Australia and looks to continue its growth in the designing, manufacturing, engineering and installation of larger waterparks, as well as municipal recreation centres."
