A 10.5 hectares waterpark is currently being planned in Las Vegas (Nevada) in the southwest of the city, after the Clark County commissioners have approved plans of the property developer unanimously.
This property developer, The Howard Hughes Company, already owns many properties in Las Vegas and is at the head of Hawaiian Falls Waterparks group, four sites located around Dallas, Texas.
No further details have been revealed about the future complex, except that the opening is planned for the Memorial Day 2012 weekend (late May) and that it expected to employ approximately 200 people. The construction will begin in the coming months.
