Euro Attractions 2013 to be held in Paris
from September 18 to 20
Update : 28/06/13 - 11h48Published by François Mayné the 28 March 2013, Event.
This is the unmissable event for all industry players of amusement parks and attractions in Europe. Save the date: the tenth edition of the Euro Attractions Show (EAS) will be held for the first time in Paris, France at the exhibition center of Porte de Versailles from Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 September, 2013.
Following the successful EAS in Rome, London and Berlin, IAAPA Europe (the European office of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) which organizes the event is expecting to welcome this year nearly 8,000 visitors and more than 350 exhibitors from over 80 countries. All areas of the industry will be represented on the show floor: amusement parks, water parks, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, museums, casinos and holiday resorts.
EAS 2013 will also be a privileged place for all attendees to meet other professionals, educate themselves on good practice within the industry and learn about the latest trends at various events organized in parallel with the trade show.
IAAPA Europe will offer an extensive program of conferences which will address topics such as innovative technologies, safety, storytelling, human resources, in-park spend or water parks, not to mention a one-day seminar for FEC operators whose market is booming. In preamble of the trade show will be held the IAAPA Institute for Attraction Managers , a 3-day seminar program (September 15-17) for emerging leaders in the industry.
The week will also be punctuated by special events to encourage networking between professionals. Guided tours will be proposed at Disneyland Paris and Parc Asterix while the EAS Post Tour trip will invite those who are interested to visit Futuroscope and Puy du Fou.
On September 18, IAAPA will organize an opening ceremony at the exhibition center of Porte de Versailles and will host a welcome reception in the beautiful Musée des Arts Forains in Paris. The next day, the CEO of Euro Disney SAS (operator of Disneyland Paris) Philippe Gas will be the keynote speaker of the traditional Leadership breakfast.
Finally, the Euro Attractions Show 2013 will host for the first time the Young Professionals Forum, a conference moderated by several European leaders and dedicated especially to young professionals who want to make their careers in the attractions industry.
Update :
IAAPA Europe announces the addition of a second exhibition hall in order to meet the strong demand from exhibitors which are already more than 330. The total exhibition area will be the largest in the history of the trade show, surpassing the record set at the 2012 edition in Berlin. The opening ceremony, Leadership Breakfast and Young Professionals Forum will be held in a area especially fitted out of the second hall.
All the useful information (opening hours, provisional program, itinerary, etc.) and the list of exhibitors already confirmed are valable on the official website of the event: www.iaapa.org/EAS. Registration is now open and discounts are offered for early bookings.
