Five of the Aqualand Water Parks in France to

expand once again with Polin in 2012

Polin today announces new additions to five of the Aqualand Water Parks in France. The contract includes new water slides and interactive water play structures at Aqualand Fréjus, Aqualand Cap d'Agde, Aqualand St Cyprien, Aqualand St Cyr Sur Mer, and Aqualand Bassin d'Arcachon.

Last year, Aqualand Bassin d'Arcachon and Aqualand St. Syr. Sur Mer chose Polin as their water slide supplier to create two unique rides. Aqualand Bassin d'Arcachon, the largest water park on the Atlantic coast, (located on 6 acres/2.4 hectares) chose First Racer Hybrid waterslide whereas Aqualand St. Syr Sur Mer (located between Marseilles and Toulon) chose a Black Hole Turbolance. "These expertly engineered rides were greeted with excitement that was reflected in increasing attendance figures. Both Racer Twin Hybrid and Black Hole Turbolance proved themselves as streamlined rides with Polin's customer oriented, flexible and efficient design understanding reflected through maximum guest satisfaction" states the manufacturer.

King Cobra goes to Aqualand Fréjus !


The owner of Aqualand water parks, Aspro Group - the largest operator of leisure parks and centers in Europe - decided on a wider expansion plan for 2012.

King Cobra will make its debut in France at Aqualand Fréjus. Polin states "King Cobra is a gorgeous waterslide that offers one of the most "intense" riding experiences of the industry, while proving itself as the number one attraction in terms of visual impact and spectator appeal. It creates a truly different experience both for the riders and for the spectators ". With its unique design configuration, fiberglass theming, coloring and its unique riding path, King Cobra is expected to bring excitement to Aqualand guests.

Children slides and a unique "water coaster" slide for the others !


Aqualand Cap d'Agde, Aqualand St Cyr Sur Mer and Aqualand Bassin d'Arcachon will open a tropical themed Aquatower water play structure while Bassin d'Arcachon will also install a Mini Pirate Slide - a mini kids slide with pirate theming. Finally, Polin's unique "water coaster" ride, Uphill Navigatour & Tunnel Body Slide with patented Natural Light Effects is going to Aqualand St Cyprien.

All new rides will open in summer 2012 and are RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) manufactured waterslides.
