IAAPA Attractions Expo 2011 is the world’s largest attractions industry trade show, bringing together 25,000 industry professionals from 100 countries . The trade show floor, which is open Nov. 15 - 18, will feature new, inventive, and trailblazing products, services, and ideas. More than 1,100 companies from nearly 30 countries will showcase their innovations on 450,000 net square feet of space, including 30,000 net square feet of outdoor exhibits. IAAPA Attractions Expo will take place Nov. 14-18, 2011, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
“IAAPA Attractions Expo offers the largest industry exhibit floor in the world with one-stop shopping where owners and operators can find the latest and greatest the industry has to offer, ” said Chip Cleary, president and CEO of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).
The Expo is the international marketplace for owners, operators, and managers of theme and amusement parks, waterparks, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, museums, science centers, and resorts. Buyers and decision makers from around the world will have access to more than 200 first-time exhibitors and can experience new products from hundreds of companies.
Exhibiting companies display products and services that address all aspects of attraction operations, from design and construction to operations, guest services, and human resources. The 125 product categories also include rides (dry and wet), shows and productions, games and devices, play equipment, novelties and souvenirs, photography, food and beverage, displays and sets, facility and grounds maintenance, admission and financial equipment, and more.
IAAPA Attractions Expo 2011 will offer buyers guided trade show vendor tours for seven different product types: suppliers in point-of-sale (POS) systems, museums, games and plush, waterparks, inflatables, food and beverage, and haunted attractions (Halloween). The Trade Show Vendor Tours help buyers locate exhibitors in their areas of interest. The tours are free for exhibitors and attendees can purchase a ticket (US$20 for IAAPA members; nonmembers US$30). Expo registration is required. IAAPA also offers six product/category specific pavilions for AIMS (Amusement Industry Manufacturers & Suppliers), coin-operated equipment, first-time exhibitors, inflatable products, outdoor exhibits, and theming and hi-tech products and services.
International participants will have access to the International Business Lounge, sponsored by Lo-Q plc, to connect with colleagues and conduct business. IAAPA offers complimentary basic interpretation services for 30-minute time periods in Spanish, Japanese, French, Italian, and Chinese. The lounge is located on the second level of the South Hall concourse.
More information regarding the trade show floor, a list of current exhibitors, and details about how to exhibit and register is available at www.iaapa.org/IAAPAAttractionsExpo.
